WLNE, Altoona, Pennsylvania — A man with a phony identification and a gun that resembles the one that was used to murder UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson on December 4 in New York City has been taken into custody by authorities, according to US News.
On Monday morning, “Luigi Mangione“, 26, was on a Greyhound bus through Altoona. He got off the bus and entered a McDonald’s, where a witness identified him from photos that the NYPD had published.
Mangione was also accused of carrying phony identification, including one from New Jersey that matched the one the suspect used to enter a hostel in Manhattan.
Mangione also had a computer and writings confiscated.

To help with the suspect’s inquiry, the NYPD is dispatching investigators to the town in central Pennsylvania.
